THE FINAL 60 - THE FIRST ELEMENTS NATIONAL SONGWRITING CAMP 2010

The ELEMENTS Songwriting Camp proudly announces its roster of participants for its first-ever workshop for songwriters.
To be held in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental from November 14 to 18, ELEMENTS is an all-expense paid project of 7101 Music Nation, which pushes for outdoor hands-on learning experience and the development of budding Filipino songwriters.
Hailing from different parts of the country, 60 campers have been chosen to join 24 of the biggest names in the Philippine music industry, including Ryan Cayabyab, Rico Blanco, Jim Paredes, Joey Ayala, Gary Valenciano, Jonathan Manalo, Jungee Marcelo, and Yael Yuzon. ELEMENTS is spearheaded by artistic director Ryan Cayabyab, who also facilitated the live tryouts and auditions in each region last September.
"We found exceptional songwriters that we kept on thinking that they would be undiscovered for a long, long time had ELEMENTS not come along. It is time for these songwriters to shine and be given the basic information they need to penetrate the industry," said Cayabyab.
